How to Apply for Funding

Requests for funding from the Healthy Community Fund will be accepted annually. The application is available on August 14th and the deadline to submit a request is September 15th.

Requests are limited to projects that will significantly improve the health and well-being of people living in Washington County and may include capital projects.

Interested 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations need to fill out the Application Form, provide the supporting documents as listed and submit their request by the deadline provided in order to be considered for funding. If required documents are not included or a deadline is not met, applications will be returned to the requesting organization for an additional opportunity to request funding in the next funding cycle.

Requests must be submitted by 1:00 pm on the deadline date. Applicants will be notified within 60 days of the deadline as to whether or not they were selected for funding. Grant disbursement can be expected by December 16th.

Application deadline: September 15th (1:00 pm)

If award is received, failure to use funds as identified will result in the loss of opportunity to submit future requests. A summary report outlining the success of the program/project with specific outcomes and measurable data will be requested.
